Abiotec has perfected a range of traps\u00a0using a special green UV-emission free light\u00a0<\/strong>designed for use in areas which are sensitive to light and particularly ultra-violet light in order to\u00a0protect collections.\u00a0<\/strong>Once irresistibly attracted by the special light source, the insects are captured by means of a glue board which is both effective (non-selective) and provides usage comfort (no noise, smell or chemical products).<\/p>\n

The insects are not destroyed when trapped which enables them to be\u00a0identified\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0quantified\u00a0<\/strong>and makes it possible to\u00a0control the insect populations<\/strong>\u00a0present in the area(s) concerned unlike with electrocution traps.<\/p>\n
